After 10 years of experience working in the industry Andrea’s entrepreneurial drive kicked into full force. There was no escaping the three generations of construction blood that ran through her veins. Realizing that purchasing a new home is a daunting and overwhelming experience Andrea took this concept coupled with her passion for this industry and in 2010 launched OPUS Homes. Creating a company that would stand out from the rest was central to her philosophy. She wanted to provide Clients with a personal, informative and caring approach to the new home buying experience. Over the past 5 years, while having had three children, Andrea and her team have designed beautiful homes containing elevated Signature Finishes and Go Green initiatives, all while giving back to the communities in which they build, but most importantly, ensuring that OPUS’ Clients, Team and Associates are treated with respect & with a smile. This past year, Andrea has been honoured with the 2016 Young Entrepreneur Under 40 award bestowed to her by the Vaughan Chamber of Commerce.

As a graduate of Osgoode Hall Law School and having come from a home building family, Michael brings a depth of experience to the OPUS team. After having run his own legal practice for several years Michael joins the team as a senior managing director with expertise in the areas of real estate law and land development. By his nature and training, Michael takes special interest in the details and looks to incorporate that attention to detail into each OPUS home for the benefit of each OPUS client. Michael is ecstatic to be working alongside his wife (Andrea) in building a company that possess the elements that make up their core family values; loyalty, integrity cherished time spent with family.

As a 15 year veteran of the industry, Domenic brings a diverse expertise to OPUS. Having began his career on the sales floor, where his clients always came first, he quickly escalated through the ranks and has played pivotal roles in both Sales, Marketing, Decor, Product design, Land Development and Corporate Strategy. Entrenched in the belief that a home builder can achieve corporate success through excellence in client relations, he has fiercely challenged his colleagues, suppliers and affiliates to move away from traditions and embrace new ideas and therein welcomes new challenges. He believes that it is a privilege to build a home for a client and strives to raise the bar through all of the client touch points.

With extensive experience and a passion for architecture and design, Mike leads the OPUS Construction Team. With a background in Business and construction project management, Mike's deep routed belief in trade and supplier relationships will optimize our ability to provide top quality materials and workmanship in every home, resulting in an exceptional new home experience. Mike's enthusiasm for the home building industry and relentless pursuit for building excellence has established him as the perfect fit for the OPUS team.

With a deep-rooted passion for design, Kimberly is the in-house Decor Pro for OPUS Homes. Having graduated with Honours in Interior Design, she diligently mastered her trade through eight years accumulated experience in the design and home building industry. During that time Kimberly developed and operated an in-house decor and customer service program for a highly-regarded home builder. A creative jack of all trades, she has been involved in multiple operational functions within the home building process. This fresh-faced and highly qualified team member oversees the décor function with a finely tuned knowledge of the entire operational process which allows her to guide clients through the maze of construction with ease.

Leslie Ann Buckmire

Decor

Leslie-Ann brings with her 15 years of experience in the fields of residential and retail interior design, as well as a passion for customer service.  She believes that “quality is never an accident, but it is always the result of high intention, sincere effort, intelligent direction, and skillful execution”.  Personally, Leslie-Ann has a passion for sustainable design, and is delighted to share her knowledge and experience in this field with our clients.

 

 Carmela Simeone of OPUS Homes

With over 10 years of experience, Carmela brings a diverse finance background to OPUS Homes. Having worked within a traditional accounting practice, Carmela was eventually lured by many of her clients to launch her own private practice and therein began serving numerous home builders. Her thoroughness, willingness to take on numerous tasks and her warm easy going nature are amongst a few of her wonderful attributes.

With her gentle and kind demeanor, our Shivanie aides the OPUS team with her administrative strengths. As a recent graduate of a reputable Law Clerk Program, Shivanie demonstrates a high level of clerical support and attention to detail. Her youthful ambition and enthusiasm is bridged by a hardworking individual, who is eager to learn all the dynamics involved in the home building process. With strong interpersonal and organizational skills and a keen ability to multitask to a variety of challenges, Shivanie is the perfect fit to our OPUS team.

Having been immersed in the construction and renovation sector from an early age, Alex brings 15 years of construction expertise to OPUS. Amongst Alex’s positive attributes, his greatest strength is that of modesty. Passionate and committed, he consistently strives to deliver the caliber of home for which he would be satisfied to own. Alex is devoted to excellence both in the field and in his relations with clients alike. He shall spearhead all field operations for the OPUS construction program.

Sergio has been active in a multitude of areas within the construction industry his entire career. Within the field, Sergio has earned a reputation for his demanding nature and tenacity. Always the first man to arrive to the job site, Sergio in very thorough in his scheduling, framing inspections, site cleanliness and coordination. His meticulous nature aligns well with the OPUS client service philosophy, and is a welcome addition to our team.
