Whitby welcomes the spring sunshine with a variety of events happening throughout May and June. Whether you’re living in Whitby now, or considering making our upcoming Whitby Meadows community home, here are some warm-weather events sure to get the family out and about!
Doors Open Whitby
On May 2nd from 10am – 4pm, gain access to many of Whitby’s most notable destinations, many of which aren’t normally open to the public. Since admission is completely free, it’s a great outing that’s easy on the pocket book. Some highlights include: James Rowe House, John Watson House, The Pumphouse, and Station Gallery.

Food Truck Frenzy
On May 9th & 10th, celebrate food served on four wheels, as the Food Truck Frenzy rolls into town. This year, there are 25 food trucks coming with your favourites from pasta to pulled pork! Coming to Iroquois Park Grounds from 11am – 9pm.

Whitby Youth Dance
On Friday, May 22nd, from 7pm – 10pm, for kids aged 10-14. Activities include: Dance Contests, Requests, Shout Outs and much more. Event takes place at the Heydenshore Pavilion.

Brooklin Spring Fair
This is the big one, folks! Enjoy the village atmosphere of Brooklin, June 4-7th. Attractions include some classic agricultural entertainment, including plenty of farm animals, a truck and tractor pull, nail driving and log sawing competition, plus an exciting midway, and live shows throughout the weekend.
