Taking a moment to pause and look back at the year is an important part of preparing for the year to come. 2017 was very special for us, with new home openings, and lives touched by our Families Helping Families\u2122 program, as well as new OPUS Homes family members moving into their new homes.<\/p>\n

In our Decor Studio, we welcomed our newest Clients at Glen Ridge Estates<\/a> & Richlands<\/a> and have been busy preparing for our Origins<\/a> and Whitby Meadows<\/a> Clients for early 2018. We hope you enjoyed our Decor Spotlight pieces on our blog and in our newsletter. Look for new ideas and trends in 2018 coming your way.<\/p>\n

At OPUS, part of our philosophy is to Give Back through our Families Helping Families\u2122 program. This year, we added some new charities to our programs in Whitby and Richmond Hill, with 360\u00b0 Kids and Abilities Centre, and created a partnership with Habitat for Humanity Re-Stores to supply them with construction materials donations from our sites. Our Origins Charity will be named soon, so stay tuned for more on this.<\/p>\n

In addition to this, we wanted to thank our friends at Abilities Centre for their tremendous contribution to our Presentation Studio at Whitby Meadows, so we were pleased to present the Thrive Art Program with a donation to help them carry on their inclusive programming.<\/p>\n

2017 was also an award-winning year. OPUS Homes was named Finalist for Tarion Homeowner\u2019s Choice Award, was a finalist for Builder of the Year by BILD. We also took home the Vaughan Chamber of Commerce Business Achievement Award for New Home Builder, and garnered some attention for our Corporate Video, winning Best Non-Sales Video from BILD.<\/p>\n

In June, OPUS Homes opened Richlands Presentation Centre, and we were among the top selling builders in Richmond Hill. The Richlands community will set a new standard for luxury and community development in Richmond Hill, and our outstanding OPUS Signature Finishes\u2122 will prove to be shining examples of what makes OPUS different.<\/p>\n

In late October, we were thrilled to open our Whitby Meadows community on one of the rainiest days this year. Not that this put a damper on the spirit of the day. The Whitby Meadows builders provided a tent to stay dry and even escorted home buyers with umbrellas right to the door. That level of service was carried right through the entire sales process, and buyers responded. Sales were brisk and continued to be steady throughout the fall. We\u2019re looking forward to meeting our Whitby Meadows homeowners soon at the Client Care Workshop\u2122.<\/p>\n

Immediately following this, our Origins community in Brampton launched with great success as well. We had an outstanding response with buyers lined up to get inside to preview our home designs and take advantage of opening day pricing and availability.<\/p>\n

In construction news, we are pleased to say that our Glen Ridge community has finally begun construction and our Aurora Trails community is now complete, and our homeowners are happily nestled into their new homes. The streets look incredible, and the distinctive OPUS Homes Signature Finishes\u2122 make our homes shine!<\/p>\n
