Get to Know Your Home Featured in Toronto Sun and

Major sources of real estate development news have published stories about our Get to Know Your Home program and we are so thrilled to share it with everyone!

The Toronto Sun’s September 12th edition featured an article by Martin Slofstra about the Get to Know Your Home program and earlier in the week, UrbanToronto featured OPUS Homes’ new Get to Know Your Home program in its daily update!

We are proud to spread the news about our revolutionary program that is changing the way homeowners get to know their new home.

Recently launched, we created a new touchless program using QR codes and personal videos that homeowners can access on their smartphone anytime to get to know the inner-workings of their new home.

Imagine having a question about your new furnace, water heater or humidifier. Now with a quick scan of a QR code sticker on those featured items, you can have answers from knowledgeable members of the OPUS team right in the palm of your hand!

Buying a New Home and Getting to Know the Features

Our touchless educational program is a first of its kind and it will now be in every new OPUS home.

This is one of the many ways OPUS Homes is responding to the needs of our new homeowners. We have heard from our new homeowners that they want information about features in their home – and not just when they first move in, but they could have questions about a feature in the months and years to come.

With this program, homeowners can go to a feature in their home anytime they wish and get to know more about it. With a smartphone they scan the QR code on a sticker on the item and a short maintenance video, recorded by Jimmy Rego, OPUS Homes Client Care Coordinator, will pop up providing important details about its specific features.

Homeownership and Understanding Your New Home’s Features

It’s quick and easy and these videos provide one-on-one maintenance guidance for the entire duration of your homeownership. This innovative and touchless program is educational for homeowners and it helps them get the most out of their new OPUS home!

We are proud that OPUS remains at the forefront of implementing leading-edge technology in all facets of the homebuilding process, making each OPUS home highly interactive and user-friendly. Just another way OPUS makes life better for its clients.

New Home Maintenance

As a new homeowner, questions about home maintenance can arise at any time. Understanding all of the features in your new home is important and having a team of experts to lean on is one way to learn all about them.

In all new OPUS homes you’ll find our new touchless QR program, which includes stickers on features throughout your home. Each sticker has a QR code that can be scanned with the camera app on a smartphone at any time. An educational video hosted by an OPUS team member will pop up and guide you through the details of that new home feature.

Here are some of the features in your OPUS home that you can learn more about through this program:

  • Countertops
