Kimberly Bianchi

Decor Studio Manager

With a deep-rooted passion for design, Kimberly is the in-house Decor Studio Manager for OPUS Homes. Having graduated with Honours in Interior Design, she diligently mastered her trade through twelve years of accumulated experience in the design and home building industry. During that time Kimberly developed and operated an in-house decor and customer service program for a highly-regarded home builder. A creative jack of all trades, she has been involved in multiple operational functions within the home building process. This fresh-faced and highly qualified team member oversees the décor function with a finely tuned knowledge of the entire operational process which allows her to guide clients through the maze of construction with ease.

Our OPUS families are all familiar with our Décor Studio Manager Kimberly Bianchi. Her deep-rooted passion for design goes into everything she does for our team and beyond. This year Kimberly has volunteered to be an active participant with BILD as Co-Chair of the Design & Décor Committee.

BILD (The Building Industry and Land Development Association) is a non-profit, industry funded organisation that works to improve the communication between the home building industry and government, to provide enhanced opportunities for its over 1,450 members, promoting the welfare of the industry, and protecting the interests of consumers.

The Philosophy at OPUS Homes is one that embraces the enhancement and development of all its team members in addition to giving back to our industry. Embracing this philosophy, Kimberly joined the BILD Décor forum three years ago lending her expertise to help enhance the décor programs of fellow builder members. The Design & Décor Committee meets quarterly to brainstorm topics they will present at their forum.

The Design and Décor Committee seeks to enhance product knowledge, usually bringing in speakers to address items such as green products; innovative products and smart technology; and how to implement them into current home building practice. Each forum then concludes with a question and answer session.

These quarterly meetings are a fantastic networking opportunity for Décor Managers enabling them to learn from one another and better their skills.

“The Design and Decor Committee provides an excellent outlet for Decor Managers to work on professional development, share information on new products and trends, as well as discuss issues and scenarios that will encourage us all to be better team leaders.” – Kimberly Bianchi
