OPUS Homes bringing the Wild to Aurora, Whitby and Brampton

OPUS Homes has been having a wild time bringing children in our communities a fun, educational and confidence-building experience through Earth Rangers to select schools in Aurora, Whitby and Brampton.

The Earth Rangers is a conservation organization dedicated to educating children and their families about biodiversity, inspiring them to adopt sustainable behaviours and empowering them to become directly involved in protecting animals and their habitats. This education is brought to children in the form of an exciting in-school program with a hands-on learning approach that engages students in environmental education and awareness and inspires them to take action.

Students also learn about the natural history of Canadian wildlife, the current threats these animals face in the wild, and real-world conservation projects taking place to protect them. Earth Rangers offers a free membership program that gives children the tools to get involved in a cause they care about—and the confidence that they can make a difference. With this membership they join a community of over 100,000 kids who have made a promise to protect animals and the environment.

OPUS Homes is proud to be sponsoring Earth Rangers presentations in the communities where we build.  This fall OPUS is helping bring the Earth Rangers to three different schools in Aurora, Whitby and Brampton, giving back to these incredible communities through education. We love seeing the smiles and excitement this initiative has generated and look forward to bringing the Earth Rangers to many more kids in our communities.

“The Earth Rangers School Assembly Program is our most impactful way of reaching students and inspiring them to get involved in protecting wildlife.  The support of local companies like OPUS Homes enables us to bring this program to schools at no cost to them which is incredibly important for us to achieve our Mission of creating a generation of conservationists.”
