This past Saturday, we were delighted to host a Twitter Live event for our Whitby Meadows community. Our Twitter followers were invited to share their questions by tagging #askWhitby for a quick response. We had a great time fielding these questions and we have put the answers up here for you!

 

Q: Will you be offering Townhouses or Semi-detached in phase 2 of Whitby Meadows?

A:
Phase 2 will include a selection of freehold towns & additional single detached homes. We do not have any semis in this community. Our towns are going to look fantastic, just as our detached do, and will be completed with our Signature Finishes.

Q: Where exactly is the site located in relation to the sales centre?

A:
Our community amenity map shows this best. The site is south on Coronation Rd. north of Rossland, and the Presentation Studio is located on the north west corner of Coronation Rd. and Taunton Rd. W.

Q: When am I able to buy a home?

A:
We are having a registrant event on Oct 28th. Make sure you register before Oct 24th as the appointment system goes live then. After October 28th, please check our website for our hours of operation.

 

Q: When will you reveal layouts for the 43’ lots?

A:
We have 42′ lots in phase 2 & 3. Release dates for these phases have not yet been determined. Whitby Meadows phase 2 in 2019.

Q: When is the proposed school to be built? Is there any plans for a children’s park?

A:
The land that we have assigned to the proposed school has not been adopted by a school board yet. We are planning a large community park and preserving over 10 acres of greenspace to conservation and trails. Stay tuned for further details.

Q:
What kind of paperwork do you need from bank for preapproval? Does the bank require solid accepted offer?

A:
You don’t need a firm approval, you only need a mortgage pre-approval showing a value you pre-qualify for. Feel free to contact our RBC reps who can assist you.

A:
30′ Singles: from the $780s
36′ Singles: from the low $900s

Q: Are closings usually on time?

A:
We are optimistic about our closing dates, strive to keep on schedule and will always keep our Clients well informed. We usually deliver our homes on time but sometimes the approval process may cause minor delays.

 

Q: When are the estimated closing dates?

A: Closings are fall 2019 to early 2020.

 

Q: What are the depths of 36 feet lots, and do they have extra premiums?

A:
The 36’s have a standard 100’ lot depth, and only 3 of our pie-shaped lots will have premiums, others will not.

 

Q: Do you have model homes anywhere that can be visited?

A: All of our model homes have been sold, but feel free to check out the OPUS Homes gallery online.

 

Q: What are the finishes?

A:
We take great pride in offering many luxurious finishes as a standard in our homes. Have a look at some of the amazing standard finishes!

 

Q: Will there roads connect to Williamsburg neighbourhood in phase 1?

A: Roads won’t connect as there is significant protected green space to the east of the community.

 

Q: How often does the train pass beside WM? Is there plans to put up a sound wall?

A:
The train tracks are to the South corner of #WhitbyMeadows. Required setbacks will mitigate sound, also there is a berm and acoustic fence.

 

Q:
What would be the approximate price for a home with stucco finish, approx. 2500 sq. ft. 36 feet lot double car garage?

A:
Our advertised price in the low $900’s is accurate given that our 36-01 model starts at 2425 sq. ft. (4bed, 4bath, double garage)
