Free Family Day Activities:
Warm up at the Whitby Civic Rec Complex with a free all ages fitness class, swimming, or children’s crafts. Check listings for times and info here.
Scotia Bank Free Skating:
Take part in the free skating events offered by sponsor, Scotiabank. The free skating is taking place at Iroquois Park Sport Centre, and Luther Vipond Arena. You can find out specific times here.

Family Day Activities at Kortright Centre:
Get out of the house and into nature with a winter hike, snowshoeing,kick-sledding, create nature art, and other family-friendly activities, or just sit by the campfire sipping some hot chocolate. View the Details here.
Take part in Aurora’s Arctic Adventure:
The Town of Aurora has a great winter festival on Family Day weekend. Arctic Adventure has live entertainment, winter sports like tubing, snowshoeing, and body zorbing! There’s lots to do and see and eat! So dress warm and plan to spend the day. View the details here.
Make the drive to Markham Museum for their Winter Fest:
