OPUS Recipe Contest Winner!

Each year we do a special Holiday Contest for our Followers and Friends, and this year was no exception! Since we love to eat, we wanted to hear what you’re cooking this season!

This year’s winning entry goes out to Milli Pajpani, so she is the lucky recipient of the $100 Visa gift card.

Milli says it’s easy to make, family-friendly and they melt in your mouth! We’re intrigued by this one, it’s a bit of a mystery… Let us know how it goes if you decide to try it!

Forgotten Cookies

2 egg whites
2/3 cup sugar
Pinch of salt
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/2 package Skor Bits (must use new, unopened package)

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Whip egg whites with a pinch of salt until frothy and soft peaks form.

Add sugar slowly (1tbsp at a time) while continuing to whip.

Once sugar added, continue to whip until stiff peaks form (5 min longer).

Fold in Vanilla and Skor Bits.

Drop by spoonful onto cookie sheets covered with parchment paper.

Put cookie sheets in pre-heated oven and then turn off oven.

Leave in oven 2-3 hours or overnight… hence the name Forgotten Cookies!
