OPUS Homes Serves Kindness to Homeless Youth at 360° Kids

At OPUS Homes, giving back to our communities is just one part of our philosophy, but one very close to our hearts.  This year, we brought a Christmas meal and donations gathered from our friends throughout the month of December, to 360° Kids.

360° Kids is one of our Families Helping Families recipients.  Our Families Helping Families program is designed to allow our homeowners support their new community, choosing from local charitable organizations, in lieu of the traditional closing gift.  This program has helped many charities including the Aurora Food Pantry, ETA Vaughan, Earth Rangers, Ride to Conquer Cancer, Salvation Army, Lakeridge Health, and Abilities Centre.

We selected 360° Kids because they provide an important service to the York Region community, with one simple vision: that every kid have access to a safe home. Through their innovative program, they offer emergency housing, meals, education, and job counselling to help kids and youth looking to get their lives back on track.

Thank you to everyone who helped provide donations of personal hygiene items, food, and gift cards that are essential for the program!
